The bauhinia flower is unique.

(pronounced bow-hin-iya)

It was discovered in British Hong Kong in the 19th century. As a hybrid it cannot self-propagate. Bauhinia plants can only be replicated by taking a cutting and grafting it onto rootstock. In fact, all bauhinia plants in the world can be traced back to the original plant that is kept in the Hong Kong Botanical Gardens. We think this is a beautiful metaphor for what Gospel movement is all about. We are all able to experience the Kingdom of God as we are grafted into the true vine—Jesus (John 15:1). We want to bring beautiful growth to existing businesses. We help you graft proven gospel-expanding principals into the rootstock of your existing business. Bauhinia Consulting LLC was founded by Colin Crawley.

Colin has had a peculiar career path—which uniquely enables him to bring business friendly tactics to achieve measurable and meaningful Kingdom outcomes.

Early in his corporate career, Colin spent 7 years working with AT&T in California. He then went on to be the Executive Director of a Kingdom Business multinational. For 5 years Colin oversaw the founding or expansion of a wide range of Kingdom businesses: A dental clinic in Cambodia, car rebuilding business and a bakery in South Africa, a four-star hotel and restaurant in Romania amongst others.

In 2010 Colin took over the leadership of a British based missions agency. For 8 years Colin learned from some of the best in the world at what it takes to launch gospel movements. As he grew the mission agency to many times its original size, he also developed the Mission Flow system which enables measurement-based gospel advancement in any context.

Since 2018 Colin has been helping Kingdom minded owners, investors, and CEOs to create Kingdom impact with integrity. The unique Mission Flow process not only helps create complementary structure within any company to deliver impact, it does so in a systematic and measurable way which allows for precise management.

Colin founded Bauhinia Consulting in 2022 to be able to expand his God given calling to help as many companies as possible. He is developing a network of Kingdom minded business people to be able to implement Mission Flow practices everywhere they can

Why is this SO important?

If you have ever lived in Europe you know what it is like to see a post-Christian nation. Your kids grow up and have no Christian friends—which makes the peer-pressure to explore alternative lifestyles huge. Other real-world examples as to what has happened:

In any of our memories, was there a time the world needed the gospel more? The gospel is what teaches people how to love unconditionally and serve the needy.

How to have integrity in business and politics. Only Christianity teaches the world to love our enemies.

However, church decline in Europe has gone so far most European countries have less than 9% of their populations going to church regularly. In the US church decline has been precipitous.

Barna reports that since 1993 a full one third less people attend church today.

How Did We Get Here?

There’s a secret in the church world that not many of us know. Training for church leaders generally has next to no equipping on how to do evangelism well. And certainly not at scale. Ask your pastor! Ask them, ‘How many total days were you in training for? And how many days were dedicated to learning how to evangelism well and at scale?’

The fact is church leaders are trained to run churches. Not to reach the people who are not attending. And especially not to reach the people who will never attend—at least right away. Think of all the people you know who have messy lives, and how that provides real barriers to attending a church and having to tell everyone there the story of their messy lives

And if our church leaders don’t know how to do this well, who is there for us to turn to?

In our opinion, that’s why we are in church decline. We simply are not sharing the good news of Jesus well enough, nor wide enough for the countries we live in to have the benefit of Christians in society.

There IS a Solution

What can be done? A major part of the solution are businesses led by Kingdom minded leaders. They just need help knowing what to do.

Companies have a tremendous amount of influence in the communities they serve. From their employees and their families, to their customers, to the vendors that serve them, to the neighbors around them. These are all communities who are ripe for influence towards the Kingdom and the King.

The best part is: You don’t even have to do the hard part. Jesus says the only people that come to him are the ones the Father is drawing to him (John 6:44). What does that mean? There are people being drawn to Jesus around your company every day. You just need to find them.

Chances are, you need help knowing how to do that well and in a way that will enhance your business, not harm it. That’s what we are here for.

Imagine how our world would be different if every Christian run company learned how to find all the people the Father is drawing to Jesus that touches their company? How fast and far would the gospel go?

The opportunity for Christian businesses is to see the gospel move far, fast and at scale! Christian business can be an engine for revival. But it must be done well, and most Christian leaders we meet, have no idea where to start.

We exist to help Christian leaders do this well and do it in business-friendly measurable ways.

More Kingdom, More Profit?

We suggest that investing in Kingdom principles within your company will not only affect your spiritual bottom line, but also you profit bottom line. When you invest in business training, you do so because you know it will lead to better business and more profit, right?

That’s what this system should be able to do for you: Seeing your people come to know and follow Jesus can lead to happier more joyful people. More honest and hard-working people. Tighter community. What is more exciting than a God story? These all, in turn, should help you reduce your headcount turnover, your delinquency, your depression related absences, or other negative aspects that hurt your profitability.

However, nothing seems to be as good as seeing a life transformed by the forgiveness of God through Jesus, that is often the best reward!
